Wings Over Amboseli Safari Extension

Our Wings Over Amboseli Safari Extension represents the ideal itinerary for business travelers with a few days available for sightseeing or for vacation travelers who would like to add something extra to their trip. Three days in big-game country against a backdrop of Africa's highest point certainly provide a memorable experience.

Itinerary
Day 1 Selenkay Conservation Area	After a pre-safari briefing, the day begins with your flight over the scenic Athi Plains to world-renowned Amboseli National Park on the border of Kenya and Tanzania. We are met at the air strip and game viewing en route Amboseli Porini Camp within Selenkay Conservation area bordering the Amboseli national park. After lunch and afternoon tea, you will be escorted on a walk by Maasai warriors to a village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life.  Return to camp for a shower, dinner and overnight.  (L,D)
Day 2 Amboseli National Park	Awake to the noisy calls of the birds.  After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing against the spectacular backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, enjoying the large herds of elephant, giraffe, Cape buffalo, and zebra, among a host of avifaunal species. Following a picnic lunch in the park, we return to Porini Camp later in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and other species.  Return to camp for dinner and overnight.(B,L,D)
Day 3 Departure Day	Early morning game drive in the Conservancy followed by a hearty breakfast, you must catch your flight back to Nairobi (B)
This itinerary can be undertaken from the either the towns of Mombasa or Ukunda on the Kenyan Coast. Similarly, this itinerary can be combined with the 3 days Wings over Mara or better still with the 7 days Porini camps safari for a complete Porini camps safari experience

*In the event of heavy rainfall causing flooding of roads preventing access to the Porini Camps or to the parks, we may be obliged to amend the safari arrangements to offer a suitable alternative safari.
