Day 1
Maasai Mara National Reserve |
 At 1000hrs, we take our one hour flight to the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. From the comfort of our aircraft seat, we enjoy a stunning view of the undulating, game-studded plains of the Mara. We’ll be met at the airstrip by Mara Porini camp staff and transferred to camp. Settle into your tent and enjoy lunch prepared by the camp chef. Afternoon game drive, followed by a sundowner at a scenic point. Return to camp for a shower, dinner and overnight (L,D)

Day 2
Maasai Mara National Reserve |
Awake to the natural sounds of Mara's birdlife. After an early breakfast, we drive into Maasai Mara Game Reserve, for a full morning of game viewing. We delve into the pristine wilderness, visiting some of the most coveted scenic sites with award-winning photographic opportunities. Following a picnic lunch in the park, we return to Porini Camp later in the afternoon. In the evening we’ll go on a game drive in Ol Kinyei Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals. Return to camp for dinner and overnight. (B, L,D) |

Departure day

Early morning walk in the Conservancy with Maasai warriors, followed by breakfast. Thereafter, we must say ‘kwaheri’ (farewell) to our hosts then depart on the flight back to Nairobi, arriving around 1215hrs. (B) |
This itinerary can be undertaken from the either the towns of Mombasa or Ukunda on the Kenyan Coast. Similarly, this itinerary can be combined with the 3 days Wings over Amboseli or better still with the 7 days Porini camps safari for a complete Porini camps safari experience |
